JUBILEE hosts a spirited group of artisans, designers, chefs, musicians, sportsmen, writers, and artists. For the fifth year in a row, we’re excited to present our roundup of JUBILEE participants.
Ann Ladson Stafford handcrafts metal vessels, utensils, jewelry, and hardware, artfully applying traditional, time-honored techniques to an intuitive design process. Stafford, a 2014 Made in the South Award recipient, will showcase her craft and wares in the JUBILEE Village.
Blackberry Farm’s sommelier and beverage director, Andy Chabot, brings his extensive knowledge of wine to JUBILEE. Saturday night, Chabot will pair wines to complement each course of Dinner with Great Friends inside G&G’s office, hosted by Mary Celeste Beall, proprietor of Blackberry Farm.

Arzberger Stationers of Charlotte, North Carolina, will be showcasing fine papers from across the globe, discussing the traditional engraving process and what makes a proper stationery wardrobe, as well as taking custom stationery orders.
Allan Benton brings his famed bacon, prosciutto, and slow-cured hams to JUBILEE and will serve samples throughout the weekend. Benton will have select quantities of his twenty-four-month aged hams available for purchase.
Mark Phoenix of Big Daddy’s Pork Skins makes the freshest pork skins in Charleston, South Carolina. Snack on pork skins with southern accoutrements or add them on top of a hotdog at the Truckstop.
Brookings Anglers is a full-service fly shop, guide service, and lodge nestled in the quaint mountain community of Cashiers, North Carolina. Brookings will bring an assortment of gear to outfit any angler as well as offer on-site casting lessons.
Blixt & Co. offers premier, traditional, driven pheasant and partridge shooting in the United States of America, and brings a long-held English tradition to the majestic American West. Blixt & Co. brings their expertise to JUBILEE and will educate guests on British Driven Game Shooting.
Susan Carson, the designer behind Carson & Co., was the overall winner in the style category for our 2016 Made in the South Awards. Susan’s line of decorative textiles originate from 18th and 19th-century botanical prints she began buying over twenty years ago. You’ll find her chic silk scarves, tea-length skirts, and more in the JUBILEE Village.
Executive chef Cassidee Dabney of the acclaimed Blackberry Farm will bring renowned cuisine to JUBILEE. Saturday evening, Dabney will prepare adventurous courses alongside chef Mike Lata for Dinner with Great Friends, hosted by Blackberry Farm’s proprietor, Mary Celeste Beall and G&G editor in chief Dave DiBenedetto.

Will Pace and his team will showcase some of the most distinguished sporting lifestyle brands for all to peruse. Pace’s venerable sport shop, Circle Seven, anchored in Madison, Mississippi has now opened a second location in Charleston, South Carolina connected to the G&G office.
Chris Batha, internationally known shooting instructor and gun fitter, is one of the most sought-after shooting coaches in the world, and brings his thirty years of expertise to JUBILEE. Guests have the opportunity to spend the day with Batha at the British Driven Game Shooting Academy.

Founders Steef Schelke and Chris Olivier of Craft Catalyst help emerging food and beverage brands grow while staying true to their roots. Craft Catalyst will bring its special guests to JUBILEE to showcase up-and-coming culinary craftsmanship.
As the oldest family jewelry store in Charleston, Croghan’s will bring some of its handsome sporting-related finds as well as Mariana Hay’s famous Goldbug collection to JUBILEE. Everything from alligator belt buckles to vintage lockets and handcrafted jewelry will be on display in the JUBILEE Village.
John Dangerfield II of Dangerfield Calls offers handcrafted custom turkey calls for the discriminating hunter. He crafts a turkey call that not only is pleasing to the eye but mimics every note of the majestic wild turkey.
Look for G&G’s senior vice president and editor in chief Dave DiBenedetto throughout the weekend. He and the G&G team play host to much of the weekend’s activities including book signings, meet and greets, dinners and more.
Meet the Southern master at Circle Seven in downtown Charleston and learn about his passion for carpentry and wildlife. Pieces from McKoy’s collection will be available for purchase throughout the weekend at Circle Seven and within the Marketplace at Charles Towne Landing.

Notable Charleston cheesemongers Trudi Wagner and Patty Floersheimer will host the JUBILEE Diner throughout the weekend. Cheese and charcuterie platters, gourmet sandwiches, and wines will be available for purchase from their exceptional fromagerie.

Fullsteam Brewery will craft this year’s JUBILEE brew. The Durham, North Carolina–based brewery specializes in crafting distinctly Southern beer, brewing traditional, farm-focused, and wild-fermented beers with local ingredients.
Flood & Print is a Charleston-based custom screen printing and design studio. Owners Courtney Selby Isaac and Esti Agudelo will debut the first ever JUBILEE T-Shirt Shop offering attendees a unique opportunity to create their own JUBILEE gear through an interactive live-screen printing experience.
Jane Pope Cooper is the designer and creative director behind Jane Pope Jewelry. After gaining a degree in fine jewelry design, she launched her first collection in 2001. Since then, Cooper’s jewelry has become known for its uniquely imperfect style and has been seen on the red carpet. Her fine metals and precious stones will be on display in the JUBILEE Village.
Local pit master Jimmy Hagood joins the festivities Sunday morning when he hosts the Sunday Social. Hagood will bring his award-winning BBQ for guests to enjoy, accompanied by a Bloody Mary bar featuring his special “Mr. Jimmie’s Pick-Me-Up” and pickled accoutrements.
Hattie Johnson of Jodie’s Hot Tamales brings her famed tamales from the Delta to JUBILEE. Enjoy her award-winning tamales with a Bloody Mary at the Sunday Social.
Join G&G contributing editor Julia Reed at Woolfe Street Playhouse to celebrate Steel Magnolias’ thirtieth anniversary. Playwright Robert Harling will join her onstage to discuss the untold story of one of the South’s most beloved hallmarks.

Savannah, Georgia-based award-winning author, chef, and tastemaker Libbie Summers joins G&G‘s Wayne Curtis to co-host the And a Bottle of Rum dinner on Friday and Saturday night. Summers will entertain guests and serve inspired dishes while Wayne pours rum cocktails inspired from his book, And a Bottle of Rum.
G&G Photography Director Maggie Brett Kennedy joins the JUBILEE festivities when she co-hosts the Leica Lecture and Leica Akademie with world class photographer, Peter Frank Edwards. Kennedy will share what it takes to create a cover worthy picture for G&G and share lifelong tips to improve guests’ photography.
Mariana “Mini” Hay is a fourth-generation associate of Croghan’s Jewel Box. Hay is the designer behind the chic Goldbug collection inspired by a familiar Charleston critter, the palmetto bug. Hay will have pieces from her collection available at JUBILEE.
